What: Taking #squadgoals to a whole new level. We interview successful women about their careers within the creative industry.

What was the catalyst for you launching your business?

I knew which industry I wanted to be in, but I didn’t know what job would be right for me.

What do you love most about what you do now?

I get to talk and connect with amazing women. It’s also so inspiring to see how eagerly they willing to be a part of it.

Describe the biggest setback you faced when establishing your business? How did it affect you and how did you push through?

The biggest setback was actually having the confidence of putting myself out there. In terms of affect, it meant that I was probably giving my brand 70% of what I should have been. But I feel as if people can see when you’re holding back and not giving it your all and that is the ‘danger zone’ because then you’re just self prophesying and setting yourself up to fail.

My brand is still so young, it only launched 2 weeks ago so I’m sure more setbacks will come. But I push through because of the women who believed in my concept. Eliza O’hare – Associate Editor of Harper’s Bazaar, Beck Wadworth – Founder of An Organised Life and regular Vogue contributor, Charlotta Backlund – Senior Fashion Editor at Cosmopolitan Magazine. Their excitement and eagerness to contribute fuelled mine in moments of insecurity.

Everyone has days where they feel flat or uninspired - do you have any tricks or tactics for overcoming these feelings?

Nope. I don’t. Those emotions are all a part of it, but if I don’t feel like posting on Social Media – I won’t. If I’m not in a good mindset, I won’t blog or write. I think I tend to just find the next woman I want to interview and hope fir the best!
