FIND YOUR FIVE // THE GATHERING

Find Your Five is our platform that specifically curates powerful connections for females to meet face-to-face in a mini-mastermind session.

It's our revolutionary solution to connect you to a curated group of other like-minded women so that you can have deeper, more meaningful connections to help you grow and succeed in business and career.

After a successful launch in September 2016, we've matched over 1000 women, many of whom have formed powerful, life-long and life-changing friendships.

WHAT //

We believe in the truth of this quote: “You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with"

In a nutshell:

You will be placed into a once-off curated peer group of 5-6. You all discuss one chosen topic, each person is given allocated air-time for one question.

It’s like a mini-mastermind, but better since you’re all extraordinary women. After that, you can choose to re-connect or join another group.

Simple really but insanely rewarding.

Wine and light refreshments will be provided.

HOW //

1. You answer some questions - so we can create the best matches
PLEASE COMPLETE THE QUESTIONNAIRE AFTER REGISTERING YOUR TICKET - THIS WILL BE IN YOUR ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL

2. We curate your connections - using fancy algorithms

3. We intro you to a group of 4 to 5 extraordinary women

4. You meet your five - for a guided 2 hour meet up on one topic

5. You connect, inspire, and grow.

During your ticket registration (and in your post-registration email confirmation), you'll be promoted to fill out a questionnaire, you must fill this out in order for us to be able to match you with your new curated group.

WHEN & WHERE //

Wednesday, 6th February / 6:00-9:00pm
Christies Spaces, 3 Spring Street Sydney

Christie Spaces offers a world-class interpretation of the coworking concept. Architect-designed workspaces with a variety of large shared areas and amenities that give members flexibility in how and where they work means that Christie Spaces represents true business freedom for you, your team and your clients.

We value flexibility because you value flexibility and we are committed to reinventing what coworking can be for the entire Christie’s community.

Light refreshments will be provided.

IMPORTANT INFO //

  • You MUST complete the questionnaire, or we won't be able to match you to a group.

  • 24 Hours before the event, you will be sent some prep activities (nothing too major, just preparing a few questions to discuss with your group)

THE LEAGUE

If you’ve never been to a League event, there’s a reason why we don’t use the “N” word and we use the word “connecting” and that’s because of the negative connotation of soliciting, selling and business card swapping. Bleh, no one wants to go to an event to talk to someone for 20 minutes only to realise you’re being sucked into buying some powdered thickshakes. We are here to connect authentically and honestly – share stories and experiences, learn from each other and respect each other. Magical things WILL happen and people will seek you out to buy from you when you work from an honest heartspace.

If you’re a female entrepreneur or thinking of owning your own business, this Meet Up is the perfect setting to meet other women in the same boat. This is not a networking group – we’re here to have real conversations and make real connections.

What do we mean by real? Well you know when you walk into a room and feel welcome even when you don’t know anyone? Or when you share experiences with someone and they say “me too!”? How about when you share tough times with someone and they don’t try to give you the advice to fix it but rather - they just get you. This is what happens at League of Extraordinary Women Meet Ups.

TIME: 6.00PM - 8.00PM

GUEST SPEAKERS//

MasterSpeaker (14).png

Both Tara Ladd and Stacey Hughes from Your One and Only are designers who live and breathe branding.

Coming from an agency background, they've had over 17 years of experience between them working with major brands across the world.

Their long-term plan was always to leave the agency and start up their own gig because their branding passion pulsed through their veins and they wanted to cut the tape and share it with the world. That happened in May 2017 with Tara kicking it off, reeling in Stacey by December due to the high demand.

Over the years, they've gone the hard yards to earn qualifications in Graphic Design, Media Communication, Interactive Digital Media, Contemporary and Fine Arts, and Digital Marketing. They've also undergone courses run by some of the world's best advertisers through AdSchool for Brand Strategy and Development, Art Direction and Copywriting.

Both women are creative to the core and believe in a holistic brand approach. Meaning they want to deliver a service that stems from the foundation of good strategy, paired with high-end design and tone of voice, right through to the way the brand is delivered to market.

The two of them have big crazy and witty personalities full of ideas and laughter. They stand true to what they believe in, stay real in their execution and are driven to help other women succeed in business.

People with goals succeed because they know where they are going. This event will give you some practical takeaways to get started! Here's to the second half of 2018!

ANGIE RITCHIE//

MasterSpeaker (14).png

I'm Ange Ritchie, founder of My Goal Squad. Since I was young, I've been setting goals for me, then I started setting them for everyone else. Goal setting has always been part of my core. It gives me guidance when I jump out of bed each day as to what I'm striving for, and why I got out in the first place. I found my perfect company when I started working at lululemon athletica. This company was different; the gear of course & the incredible people but most of all the culture was life changing. My goal setting went to another level. 8 quick years and a lot of goal coaching of guests, staff, friends and family later and I left that company. I went through a really tough time personally and it was goal setting that got me back on track. After people kept telling me, you should start this as a business, I finally gave in and let my passion override and I said 'yes!'. My Goal Squad was born just 1 year ago and there's been no looking back. I am sooo incredibly passionate about empowering people and seeing life changes they thought would never happen, happen. I feel very lucky.

SHERYL THAI //

MasterSpeaker (9).png

Sheryl Thai began her career in the IT&T industry but, with a job loss resulting from the economic downturn of 2009, found herself presented with a unique opportunity to fulfil her passion of starting a cupcake business.

Starting off in her home kitchen with less than $2000, the business started to flourish as name “Cupcake Central” spread through word of mouth and orders starting flowing in. As demand increased, the decision to open up her first cupcake store became imminent and Cupcake Central’s first storefront in Hawthorn opened their doors in August 2010.

Since then, Cupcake Central has expanded to 5 stores, released a sold-out cookbook “Hatch That Dream” and employs over 85 staff. Sheryl won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2013 at the Australian Start Up Awards and was also a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards 2016, Entrepreneur category.

These days, Sheryl spends the majority of her days fulfilling the role as CEO of the League of Extraordinary Women, an organisation she co-founded in 2011. The League connects female entrepreneurs through meet ups, conferences and an online technology platform.
