MELBOURNE - BUILD & GROW

  • The Prahran Hotel 82 High Street Windsor, VIC, 3181 Australia (map)

TOPIC // BUILD your brand & GROW your business

"Build it and they will come" they say but what really goes behind building a brand with a foundation that gives it the ability to thrive and grow?

This meetup will see 3 extraordinary women share their journey on how they did just that.

Jess Gerring - Co-Founder, Hello Hair

She started her online business with her co-founder without telling anyone...in case they "failed" and little did she know that it would blow up on Insta (ahem all 403k followers!) Hello Hair has quickly become a brand online that has created a community of avid followers and has branched out to different natural products for the hair. Jess will share with us how she developed their products, built a brand and growing it to astronomical proportions in a few short years. Stocking their products in several countries and shipping all over the world - to think it all started with a small thought on how to create natural products for hair care and having ZERO knowledge on how to create it at the start. Incredible.

Sage Greenwood and Tahli Watts - Co-Founders, Golden Grind

Tumeric lattes? Yep, they are all the rage. Thanks to these ladies, Sage & Tahli, they have given us another delicious option other thancappucino's and chai lattes. Tumeric has so many benefits and these ladies saw the potential to bring it to the people! So a year later they are stocked in hundreds of cafes and stockists, whilst expanding their products to other beverage powder combos, beauty products and chocolate. So early in on their journey and they're already kicking GOALS. So let's hear what their story is and take a leaf out of their book.

Emily Dornbusch - Founder and CEO, Emeldo

LOGO - Original.jpg

Eclectic, fun, bold, bright and wonderful. Jewellery and Accessories that make an outfit. Slightly wild, but wearable - This is Emeldo.
A small side hobby, that turned into a full blown business, Emeldo has seen considerable growth in it’s short existence. Emeldo has been featured in various media outlets including Real Living Magazine, The Design Files, Australias Got Talent, Sunrise, Lara Bingle, Frankie Magazine, The Age, LMFW, How Two Live... just to name a few.
With her earrings that sell out within hours of creation - Emily knows that her statement jewellery pieces can make any outfit pop. But she also knows the importance of giving back - collaborating and supporting charities and non for profit’s along the way.
