As a woman in business, is your voice being heard? Do people truly listen when you speak? And do you have the vocal confidence to command a room?

Sally will open your eyes to vocal habits many women adopt in a range of scenarios from public speaking to introductions to pitching – whether to a group, one-on-one or over the phone.

Habits like the constant rising inflection, vocal fry (which Sal calls the Kim Kardashian effect), overuse of ‘ums’, ‘ahs’ and ‘likes’, and that deep voice women often put on to sound ‘manlier’ when really they just sound fake!

Sally will explain how to set up, support and style your voice to kick these habits and make a better impact every time you speak.

And yes, it’s interactive – so warm up those vocal cords!

Ever wondered what is takes to launch and manage a successful podcast? In this panel conversation with Phoebe Parsons and Stevie Dillon we'll cover:

- How can you start a podcast?

- What do you need to think about before you start?

- What equipment and tech do you need to consider?

- How do you build an audience?

- How do all the metrics work to get listed in the highest rated podcasts?

Sally Prosser is a voice coach, and as her business cards point out – NO, it’s not singing!

Sally’s work is all about helping you find your vocal confidence – so you can feel good and make an impact every time you speak – whether that be to one person at a networking event like this, or one hundred people on stage at a conference.

As a former TV journalist, Sally reported for Channels 7, 10 and the ABC before crossing over to public relations and taking on the role of Spokesperson for Urban Utilities – one of Australia’s largest water companies.

Prior to her broadcast career Sally ran a successful speech and drama studio and holds a licentiate teaching diploma in the field. She also holds degrees in Journalism and Law.

This fusion of qualifications and diverse experience drives Sally’s passion for sharing how each and every one of us can be exceptional speakers and communicators.

Sally works with a wide range of individuals from journalism students to emerging leaders through to CEO’s and Politicians. Sally also works with corporate teams, ensuring customers are spoken to with credibility and charisma.
