WHAT: In Converstion with Angelique Sanders
WHERE: Saint John Craft Beer, 133 Saint John Street, Launceston.
WHEN: 29th November 2018
GUEST SPEAKER // ANGELIQUE SANDERS
Ange has been actively involved with Tour de Cure since 2014 and still currently involved, an organisation that is raising funds and awareness in the prevention of Cancer to thousands of people in communities across Australia and schools each year.
Working towards a common goal, with like -minded people, with the funds raised going towards research to find a cure for cancer, and to also go towards programs that assist those with cancer and their families.
Ange is very passionate about spreading the message amongst her own community whilst raising funds for this hideous disease, through various fundraising activities leading up to the tour whilst also working full time at the Commonwealth Bank. Her family are very supportive, husband Adam and boys Oliver & Ryley, as a busy life can be quite challenging when you throw in training for the ride also – all those km on the bike - but it is so rewarding. It’s all about work life balance – as they say!
If you’re a female entrepreneur or thinking of owning your own business, this Meet Up is the perfect setting to meet other women in the same boat. This is not a networking group – we’re here to have real conversations and make real connections.
What do we mean by real? Well you know when you walk into a room and feel welcome even when you don’t know anyone? Or when you share experiences with someone and they say “me too!”? How about when you share tough times with someone and they don’t try to give you the advice to fix it but rather - they just get you. This is what happens at League of Extraordinary Women Meet Ups.
